Rewild.org

I'm not sure how long rewild.org has been offline now, but for my and others' convenience, I've reincarnated their website with the help of the internet archive and google pages. You can find the site's text, as it appeared as of it's last archive snapshot - March 8, 2005 - here. My link in the sidebar to rewild will now point there as well. I hope the people who ran rewild.org are doing well.

and thanks cym. I am aware of teaching drum's questionableness. although that blog opposing teaching drum seems just as questionable to me.

  3. The best way for folks to decide about the accuracy of the anti Teaching Drum website is to carefully read everything there, then go to the school for a visit to see for yourself.

It appears, now, however that Tamarack Song is going to be focusing on a hybrid wolf-dog rehab / amusement park, so the school may not exist much longer.

How many people attended this year's Wilderness Guide program, in light of the expose by the anti-Drum site, may be a factor in Tamarack's sudden reinvention of himself as wolf-dog man.

  4. As far as I can tell, the so-called exposé has had nothing to do with the population of the yearlong. There were 9 to sign up, and currently 6 are left in the program. The number in the yearlong fluctuates, 9 is merely average. It would seem the impact of the Anti-Teaching Drum blog is being highly exaggerated. The murky, hate-filled rants there have provided little clarity as to just what, exactly, is so wrong with the Teaching Drum. A substantial portion of the blog posts are just re-postings of the words of those at the Teaching Drum, occasionally interjected with snide, snippy, and sarcastic remarks that have little or no substance to them. While there is merit in a critique of the Teaching Drum and even more merit to be found in a critique of Tamarack himself, it is to be found only in scant quantity on the blog As the Teaching Drum Turns.

Oh, and before my authority is challenged: I just recently went for a visit, and I have read everything on the blog.
